Job description:

The Water House needs an Electrical Mainteance Engineer for its Blue Ridge plant. Pay is $53,331/yr. Fulltime; day shift. Must have bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related. No prior exp. req’d. Knowledge of water-bottling equip. req’d; knowledge of Maper’s SA DB-1200, LA-200, and TB-1200 a plus. Duties incl. adjust, maintain, repair, improve, & manage water bottling equip., incl. 3- & 5-gallon lines; to produce products of highest level of quality; supervise and train other employees engaged in the bottling of water, after conferring with management & other employees, to coordinate operations & help the plant accomplish production goals; develop written safety programs for equip. which comply with OSHA safety guidelines; maintain & insure all protective devices & parts for equip. are functional & installed properly to provide safe work environment for employees; train & supervise employees on safe operation of equip. & safety programs; adjust, maintain, & repair equip. to produce highest level of quality products; modify equip. & software, including control elements, control panels, & instruments, to improve automation, increase productivity, decrease downtime, optimize processes, to gain full efficiency, reduce production costs, & reach maximum production output; inspect and test materials, products, & equip. to detect & correct defects, failures, or malfunctions; implement routine & preventive maintenance plans for all equip., as well as maintenance policies & training; ensure appropriate stock of replacement parts to reduce equip. downtime; research, design, evaluate, install, operate, & maintain mechanical & electrical products, equip., systems, or processes to meet production goals; create & present production reports to management; confer with management to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, & provide technical info.; maintain internal communication framework for use of reporting & understanding equip. output data using terminals available to other employees for planning & reporting; measure production output & processes, such as water use, energy use, & timing; consult & project management in planning, development, layout, procurement, & installation of new production lines needed to meet customer demand or produce new products; coordinate with vendors to acquire equip. & parts needed to modify equip. available to meet customer specs; install new parts on existing equip. based on customer specs or recommendations from equip. manufacturer; and reinforce best practices of manufacturing thru maintenance of equip.
